Well if you know alot I sure could use some help. I thought I was getting somewhere last week, the male made his nest. Problem is the female bumped into the floating cover (what the nest was in) and made it sink. I took the cover out and now I have an Icecube tray in there (so I'm being creative so that I dont have to spend money...) But the icecube tray doesnt seem to be working....

What else could I put in the tank for him to build his nest under?  And what can I get them to hurry up....

If you are trying to breed them and they won't try seperating the pair for a few days. The male I have almost never makes a nest so don't worry so much about that. However if you seperate the pair they will almost certainly breed when put back together in a few days. 8)

I don't think I will be able to do it..... i expect my female will be dead by tomorrow... Her body had turned grey-brown and hard... Shes not swimming very well.

I did have an interesting discovery today... I was cleaning out my tanks and found a bunch of little guys swimming around... (not the same tank as my gournamis) The thing is Im not sure what they are! This tank is sort of my side tank. i put fish that I'm not doing anything with in there so the babies could be just about anything.....

The reason that they are a lot of BAP points is cause of fertilty problems. The fish are hard to keep. and the babies drop dead right after birth or are born prematrely. some have succeded, but no farther than two captive bred generations.
