No never did think about discus. Not real sure why but they've never really interested me enough to want to keep any.

Best deal I got was I sold some N. brichardi fry for around $9 each. I brought over 10 lol.

at the moment I'm leaning twords more of a 'classic' Tanganyian community.

If I can talk the wife into it, I'd like to spring for some adult calvus, as well as some julies, 20+ cyps, and mabey either Lepidiolamprologus hecqui or boulungeri. It may work if the shellies are the last thing added and allow the julies to start breeding first if the lamps. are adults. If not, then I could add them sooner.

Just can't pull you away...;)

I like the idea of the julies, especially if they are F0 or F1's haha. Bright colors and just a cool shape/personality. I hope i can snag a few of these around September this year.

Have you ever checked into Featherfins? I don't know much about them myself except that the import on them has been drastically cut back over the past year s making them pretty expensive. Sure would be an awesome addition though.

haha, no not quite.

Yeah, i may splurge a bit depending on what else I decide to do with some of my other tanks and get something up there like F0's. We'll see.

No I've not checked into featherfins. I know enough to stay away from them because of the price that comes with them. lol. But from what I have read they do sound like quite the interesting fish. And a few of them make some of those malawi fish look like feeder guppies. ;)
