I lost one male betta to my wifes cat last month. In december, I lost my red crowntail to dropsy I believe. One SAE last week for no reason. Thats really all this past year, except when we had to move 5+ hours away. That was a really sad week. It was like the fishy angel of death had moved into our new house. It was all stress related Im sure. I know that I lost a breeding pair of Rams, 3 angels, and some more that I cant think of, but those were the biggest losses. However, most of our fish did survive quite fine.

I hope we are not counting feeders!

My oldest fish was six years old when he died, he was a bloodfin tetra. I've lost a few recently, mostly to my Apisto eating them, or because in my other tank a strange disease keeps reappearing everytime I stop the meds... I'll be hooked on Melafix the rest of my life it seems. My oldest current fish is my Red-tailed shark, Ender, who is probably 2 or 3.
