They didn't have any when I was there... Pretty limited in freshwater. I did manage to snag there last 2 American Flag Fish. How could you forget Something Fishy? Course, you aren't doing salwater yet, so, that might be a bit of a trick. I've gotten some awesome live rock from them, minus the aiptasias. Don't think I've ever seen a sick fish there, just wish they'd special order saltwater fishes for me.   :'(

Nope. Salty tanks still scare (and excite) me.

I just called something fishy and he confirmed that he actually has german blue rams and bolivian rams as well.

i'm totally buying some if they're nice, and i'll offload the crappy WOF ones on a different store.

hey man i really could use ur advice on the german rams.  i cant get them to live. ive had two and they both have died within like 2 or 3 weeks of purchase.  if u could just tell me exactly what u do to get it right i would be very thankful.  otherwise i think ill give up and just stick to bolivian rams mine hasn't died yet.  peace

It would help a little to know about your aquarium. What kind of  water conditions do you have? What are the tankmates? Is it a planted tank?

Two guesses
1. Hard water. They hate that more than anything
2. Aggressive tankmates?

hey back draft i havent tested my water in a while but i know its somewhat soft.  see we have a pool and we have to add water haderner or the vinal will wrinkle.  so anyways the tank mates arent too aggresive but its only a ten gallon.  serpaes are my most aggresive i guess but they stay busy with themselves.  its pretty well planted camboda a melon sword some narrow leaf sword.  some type of red leaf plant and elodea which will be going away soon. anyways maybe im just not getting quality stock?  how much do u pay for them around here i pay around $7.00.  thanks for ur help.

Well the not-so-great lfs had 4 rams left....2for1 sale.....nabbed them.....they are in a 5g planted QT for now....let's see what happens!

Oh....and I asked them to test the pH for me.....6.4!!!! No wonder they like that lfs!

I can see I'm gonna have to do some serious peat filtering (already started) and DI water for the waterchanges until I get the hardness down. I really want to breed these guys.
