silicone is good. i bet it exploded on you because you either forgot to cut the yop off or puntrure the membrane thingy first. superglue also works. also they sell stuff on the DRs website used for securing rock.
I did everything for the silicone needed to be done. I guess it was faulty! I got superglue! That would be my best bet! Is that safe though or should I watch out for anything in the glue?
i personally think that silicone will work. my dads a window fitter and he uses it all the time. silicone is also what holds most aquarium glass together. and there are some that can be toxic. use clear non toxic silicone.
