Sorry to hear you couldn't get a bigger tank before one of your fish died. This is what we were all worrying would happen. Unless you want more of them dying I'd do something about your overstock issue now. Also, the amonia and/or nitrate levels in that tank are probably through the roof with that many fish in there. I'd be doing a 10% water change every day or two if I were you. Do you check the water perameters? If you don't, you should start doing it and you'll see why its so important to follow the rules for stocking a tank.

How is it that you know you don't have a problem if you don't test and one of your fish just died? What do you think caused her death, if it wasn't from nitrate/ammonia?

OK. Let me get this strait...You love fish and want to keep them and you say your a good person. We tell you to get a bigger tank and all you say is that your parents wont buy it for you and you only get $6 a day and so your saving up. Thats slightly understandable, except one thing....they seem to keep buying you more fish!!! You take some of your Mollies in (good on your part) but you come home with MORE MOLLIES (BAD on your part). If you get $6 a day in 25 days you will have $150, now I think that is enough money to buy another 10G tanks and equipment. What about you?? How long have you been saving??? O and whats this http://www.myfishtank.net/forum/showthread.php?t=35319&page=2

Im curious to see what your tank looks like could you post a pic??

Coolfish5000,

Lots of us struggle when it comes to funding this hobby of ours. I'd run out and buy more fish right now if I could. I've been having a craving to breed platies again for the last month or so, but I just can't afford to.

And platies are only about a buck-fifty at the pet stores!

Do you think this means that I don't have $1.50 lying around somewhere?

LMAO!
I'm still waiting to see if he'll answer my question...seriously, it wasn't meant to be a merely rhetorical question. I wanna see what kind of answer he comes up with.
