ok ive got a 30 gallon and a 12 gallon and i want to convert one of them into a nano and i was wondering if there is an anenomy(i cant spell that) and i was wondering if i could fit one in a smaller tank or what size would you reccomend? i would perrferrably like the 12 to be one and im probably asking a dumb question and i nned to read that annenomy sticki agen id bet and ths is a stupid queston

but wuld i really need 30 pounds of live rock or could i have less like 7 or 8pounds less?

uuuuggghhhhh i need that job!!!!!!!i want to be a human dieconal (sgine wavers) so i can afford that kind of stuff lol i get that mutch money in alowence in a year! and they get $10\hour and you olny need to be 14 and im happy my 14th bday was last month!

yes kelvin matters. you have to have a certain range in kelvin, or it doesnt have enough "useable light" the light has to have certain colors of the spectrum to be beneficial. thats why people mix regular and actinic or 20 k lights (i think). its to give the corals a cool glow, and also supply them with the useable light.

I think you have a lot of reading to do, anemones are not for beginners, just ask lorna what happened to hers (not that she is a beginner). They are difficult, and when they die cause a whole mess of problems. The corals you are asking about are not for beginners either, softies are good corals to start with. I would go from there, and start with a 30 gallon, there is no way of getting around certain costs in this hobby, so a job would be a good idea. or maybe play the lottery...
