The ones in the pond will be fine. They'll probably be even better than the ones in the 20 gallon. Supposedly goldfish are wired to basically hybernate, or become mostly inactive. Just make sure not to overfeed the ones outside as they'll be slowing down significantly. Merry Christmas!
