Ideas for 16 gallon

Knock wood, so far I've been lucky and haven't had any tank-wide disease.

What are melafix and maracin (I assume some sort of disease treatment)?

I'm quite excited about my tank...I had the nitrite spike the other day and now I'm just waiting for it to reach zero again.

No one did ever answer my question regarding the zebra danios....would it be ok to keep some in my 16 gallon??

UPDATE:
My tank is finished cycling but I'm going to wait a few more days before getting fish just to make sure everything is stable. Plus I need to get paid first!! *thumbsups

Questions:
Should I do the big water change now or the day before I get the fish?
Also just to clarify I need to keep adding ammonia to feed the bacteria, so should I add a few drops or enough to raise it to 3ppm each day?

I would only add a few drops of ammonia now that your bacteria is established.

And remember to add your fishes slowly 'cuz you don't want to overload your bacteria with more ammonia than it's used to and throw your tank into a mini-cycle.

add ammonia a few drops daily as said and do the water change the night before you get fish.
