Thanks for your patience with this, everyone! And for all of your help! I went to the pharmacy today but they didnt have the potassium whatever thingie stuff, but I am going to try a different store tomorrow

Well it looks like a tumar on the bettas side. Don't know much about curing it but I hope you find something tohelp him

My betta has the same problem he looks the same as your betta does

A few red-tail sharks my dad had got something like that. Lumps on their sides. Their scales would stand out sometimes, but mainly they just had lumps. They died not to long after we noticed them. I hope your betta gets better though. Good luck.

Well, funny you ask...I am going to post a question about the potassium permanganate that I just purchased for him. He is still the same, not seeming affected/sick at all (he still acts normal and happy!), but still has the same cyst.

My betta has the same problem i tried the pea and his side seems to be getting smaller.(He had no "pinecone effect" to him).
