Well, I guess I'll figure it out. I to have had some luck not cycling what so ever. Then again, this is when I to, didnt know about it. I dont think I'll go that route...and if by big chance I do. I'll drop the ugly guppy I have in there first! LOL. I guess I'll just roll with it.

I would use dawn dish soap and hot water to clean his gravel, I had no problem with it, just make sure you rinse real well.
Please don't use any soap for anything that goes near your fish. If you want to "sanitize" something, use bleach or vinegar, rinse well and either dry it out or use dechlorinator (if you used bleach).

If your tank is empty, keep the ich med in there. It does not kill the bacteria in the tank. You can either add a little fish food daily, throw in a cocktail shrimp or add some pure ammonia to keep the cycle going.
