More 10g questions about the fish

Just to Keep a few other options out there instead of a Blue Ram could anyone reccomend another Centerpeice fish for my 10g

A gourami, betta, or paradise fish would also make a great centerpiece fish. A lot easier to care for as well!

Dwarf gouramis are great, as missfishy mentioned, bettas and paradise fish do well, but you have to watch the temperment with any of these, they can all be calm and nice or total devils, so just keep an eye on them. Another option would be other small cichlids like an apisto or krib.

IME, Emperor tetras can be a bit aggressive kept in a school would likely be best. I'd go with the 4-6 Black neons, Ram, & 1-2 Oto.

(btw, there are 2 species of Emperors; the one I have experience with was...... ummm blue eyed.. ?)
