some thing in my mantis tank is eating my zoanthids, i moved a 10 polyp frag over to the 10 gallon to see if it does good in there. were the power head should be in that corner is were i am going to put an aquaclear filter, it will be a refugium and maybe hide the heater.

i wanted to keep a six line, but from what i have been told on other forums they can be kept in a six but isnt the best tank size for them. although i have seen happy ones kept in 12 gallon nano cubes. i also was looking at clown gobies and fire fish.

I wouldn't house a Sixline Wrasse in a 10 gallon as from my observation they like to swim and in a 10g it might be a little cramped but that is just my opinion. You could house a single Goby such as a Trimma, Neon, Clown, etc.

im confused now, from what i have seen at my lfs they can be kept happily in a 12 gallon nano cube(same floor size as a ten, they also have one in a coral prop tank and it stays within a 1 and a half foot area most of the time.

ive desided to get a six line when i move up to a bigger tank... I thing i will go with a clown goby and clown fish. those six lines just have the prettiest colors :( any ways would it be ok to add a clown goby nest week?

edit: ok now i am totally confused! i keep hearing different views here is one that i found that says six lines would be ok.

I was just stating my opinion on housing a Sixline in a 10 gallon, and obviously it is your tank so you have the right to do as you wish. Although I don't have any personal experience keeping a Sixline Wrasse I've seen them in tanks at the lfs, friends tanks, and videos and they seem like they like to swim. There are many people who keep Sixlines in 10 gallon.

Btw your tank is looking good and how do you like those Nassarius snails? because I absolutely love them and think they do a excellent job.:)

i couldnt find them today, i droped a piece of shrimp pellet in and they poped out of the ground like zombies, i might try the six line, they are 35 dollors ta my lfs, if i do get one it will be the only fish and if i think it needs more room i will return it.

would an emarald with its body the size of a quarter (not including claws and legs) eat a clown goby?
I doutb it, I dont have a clown in my tank (yet), but my emerald is about the size of a quarter, and he doesnt bother anything in my tank, most of the time he sits in his hole and waits for me to drop him a shrimp pellet, he's so spoiled:rolleyes:

well, to day i added a clown goby, he is still acclimating, i got the secend biggest one, i was a little upset though, clown gobies when they are arrived inot a lfs are usualy starved, there was one that had a belly that looked like a tinny bowl was indented... any ways, i thought about nameing the clown gobby tweety or tweeter after tweety bird.
