Wow, its a very different looking tank...not bad at all....I have never seen those egyptian decorations before..

I can think of 2 suggestions, I would add some short plants to the front of the tank. Just a few in order to make it not as plain in the front. Like that little reed thing you have going on by the big pyrimid.

Another thing I might have done, but is kinda hard to do know that you have the tank setup, I would have made the substrate be a tan sand, like that in the egyptian dessert. But you know the blue doesn't look bad with the baskround.

Very good over all!

I lived in Egypt for 8 years, so it's kind of cute to see a themed tank of it.

I think sand would look really cool, although the blue gravel kind of matches the background nicely. I think more plants would look great too. Maybe you can find some that look kind of like papyrus, that would be awesome :) Papyrus is a reedy kind of plant, almost grassy, with what look like the spokes of an umbrella on the top of the stalks.

Get some ich medicine as soon as you can, and start treating. Make sure you treat it for as long as it says on the directions, otherwise it will just come back. I hope your fish make it through.

That link has a lot of basic information about breeding rasboras (PH, temperature, food etc.) although it seems that they aren't that easy to breed. Good luck with it :)

wow..different looking tank...very cool. I would definately go with the tan sand to finish off the look.

Are you sure it was ick in the tank? Maybe the curse of the Mummy :p j/k

Hey what about some brown paper for a background? You can draw (or trace) some heiroglyphics on the paper for a real Egyptian wall look :D

Maybe you could make most of the sand tan and then have a stream of blue gravel like the Nile river? LOL, then you could add fake aligators and hypos along the sides and the reed type plants along the edges of "the Nile", lol. Kind of extreme, I know, but definately Egyptian-like.

You should get a few more neons because they like to school, and they should be in schools of 6 or more.
GET SOME ICH MEDS!
Ok......neons arn't for any tank. You can't just put them in and expect them to live. They are more sensitive then other fish are to water conditions.

ummmmm just wondering why you said.... "GET SOME ICH MEDS" ??????

hey thanks for the info guys greatly appreciated! although it wont be easy to put the sand instead of the blue gravel, i bought the egyptian things from a lfs chain called petland , i think they only have them in calgary but not sure, as for the ich i finally found a medicine that is working wonders! ive had it in less than 48 hours and id say 90% of the ich has cleared up on the fishes :D its just called "super ich cure" ill look it up later and post some details on it. ok as for the neons and angels i only have this many because of the ich and the angels never ate them because if you look in the top right of the pic the angels arnt that big anyway but i do have plans to get another tank at least 29 gl's that im going to theme in the near future, any suggestions?
