and do u think if i put the sand over the blue it will look ok, because i was thinking of doing the river at the front, and just placing the sand ontop of the blue, only a thin layer but thick enough that you couldnt see the blue

hey everybody just a small note on meds and stuff like go get some ick med.lets face it everyones tank has ick.the true cure to any fish diease is prevention not medication.meds have their place in the aquarium but not untill you have determined the problem and how to avoid it next time.and ick can often be cured with salt and rasing the temprature to 85f.

Are you sure it was ick in the tank? Maybe the curse of the Mummy :p j/k

Hey what about some brown paper for a background? You can draw (or trace) some heiroglyphics on the paper for a real Egyptian wall look :D
I think the hieroglyphic background would look damn cool. You could probably find some real hieroglyphics online in a poster size somewhere. Save it to disk, take it to kinko's, have it printed out and laminated (to protect against water).

If you were really industrious, you could find a translation of some hieroglyphics, pick a phrase that you like, and put those hieroglyphics as the background to your tank :D
