) Thats not wrong info just not all of it. There are alot of things that contribute to a cyle and without one or more it will either not happen or take a lllooonnnggg time. Read this and you might understand more:

Hey there, trust me, you're getting wrong information from your fish store, not from us!
Its been proven that the only product that will really cycle your tank is Biospira. I've also heard that Stability can help speed up a cycle, but it does not instantly cycle your tank. Everything else that claims to help/speed a cycle or cycle your tank is just lying. Seriously.
A cycle occurs when beneficial bacteria grow inside your tank. These bacteria will convert harmful contaminants (ammonia and nitrite) into less harmful nitrate. The only way that Stress Zyme could cycle your tank is if it added a sufficient amount of this bacteria to your tank. This wouldn't be possible for Stress Zyme, because the bacteria has to either be refrigerated (as in Bio Spira) or have food (ammonia/nitrite).
Search around. There's been a ton of threads on this stuff. And by the way, if you don't want to be called a "kid", you may want to try acting more maturely.
