Just got a package from a fellow breeder from Chicago.

The contents were 2 L134 males (good luck finding ANY of these) Now the holding females I have will have some boys, so we will see how this goes. The fellas are full grown and ready to spawn.

A group (5) of L136 juvies. They are young but given my experience with like bodied Hypancistrus L260, shouldn't be more than a yr or so before they are of age. Hopefully they will prove to be as easy to spawn as the L260. WoW even as juvies these guys are pretty.

All are acclimating ATM. Picks will come in a day or so.*celebrate

They are still in their bags :p A pic of one of my female L134s can be found on the species page for them on PCF. :D I'll post some pics as soon as we get them.

No Mr Mouse. I keep a lot more than just plecs. But yes they are one of my favorites.

Uh well the 134s where basically free, with the promise to hook him up with fry at a good price, but the market price for 1 on AB is going for about 80-85 for a wild one.

No one can get L134s ATM. The area they come from has been flooded out since December making the demand for them go through the roof. On top of that early reports predict the species itself has taken a hit. And may not recover. Lets all hope that is just a rumor.

The L136 are 1.5 inch fry so they were only $17 each. Overnight shipping for Sat delivery was about $80.

Man too tired to count. Just got done doing water changes on them all. Guesstimate is summin like 42 or so tanks =ing 1200-1300 gals total. Summin like that.

Thankfully most of the plecs I want to work with (having 6 or more of each species) are still quite small giving me some time for more tanks. Cause as they grow I'm going to be seriously over stocked if I do not add to my tank count.

It's a work in progress, always looking for more tanks, more filters, heaters. But can't stop the Mrs from buying more fish..So we will always need more tanks.

This last purchase was supposed to be just the 2 L134s but when she found out he would give them too her, she said the hell with it and bought the L136s. Tis just how things work I guess.
