L46 is from the Rio Xingu, these are from the Rio Tapajos. Have you had the id checked on plnetcat or somewhere. They look like Hypancistrus to me but it's always nice to check

Yea I checked on planetcatfish and they are indeed Choc Zebras. Woops, made a mistake on the same river thing, but it's apparently not from Rio Tapajós either, according to Planetcatfish it is from "Rio Curuná, one of the smaller rivers between the Rio Tapajós and the Rio Xingú, which drains the southern Amazon." So right between where we thought.

Nice fish - body markings resemble my L76 Orange Seam

While we're here - my sailfin changes his colouring to camoflage himself - he goes patchy - changes back in 3 seconds when he relaxes again - do all Pl*cs do this? - kinda makes things tricky if you're choosing a new fish

Many plecos have a "stressed color" which does indeed make it hard to determine what they really look like when selecting one. These new guys had a stress colorization that almost made them look albino or more like a faded zebra pleco when they were in the bags, but the color quickly started to return as soon as they felt a little more comfortable.
