Like I said before, I never claimed to be an artist or anything, but here's what I got so far....
By the way, the params are changing already:
sg: 1.025
ammonia: 0
nitrite: 0.25
nitrate: 20 (high, but is this normal for this stage?)
ph: 8.4

I hope I got the pic on there!

Soon you will see a massive amount of brown algae. Don't worry about it. Let it go. As soon the diatoms use up the nitrates for food they will start to go away leaving some green algae. Then you can start adding the CUC. Totally opposite of what I did but I'm a lot smarter now.

so, all of a sudden, extremely cloudy...is this normal? I've read alot, and I know everyone else's was cloudy right after they started and all, but yesterday mine was pretty clear, and today, VERY cloudy. Also, I think I see some slimy brown stuff covering all four sides....is this the brown algea you mentioned? Would this all be happening this fast?

ok, I did that...there was a film of stuff that came loose when I cleaned it....should I put a hob filter on to catch this stuff? Also, should I do a water change? If so, what %? I've read all this stuff, but I feel better getting real answers!

Ok, so I have a new question....my husband informed me that last night, my son poured SODA (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) into my tank.....then, he said, "Mommy needs more rocks" and put an everyday rock in....my husband got it out and said he stirred up some sand getting it out. I am devastated....I have no idea how much soda he put in....(he's 2 1/2 if that tells you anything) Then, when I asked him about it, he cried and said "I made Mommy's rocks dead!) He's heard me referring to them as live rock....what should I do? Like I said, I've no idea how much soda went in...probaby not too much, but I'm sure any amount is not good......I am really annoyed because everything seemed to be going good.....I guess now I really should do a water change....At least I've prevented him from being able to access the tank now.....
