Ok i did the water change today, prior to the water change i tested the water to see where my levels were. they are as follows:
Ammonia 4.0 ppm
Nitrite .50ppm
Nitrate 0 ppm
PH 7.4-7.6
After doing a 30% water change they read as follows:
Ammonia 1.0 ppm
Nitrite .25 ppm
Nitrate 0 ppm
PH 7.4-7.6 ppm
So the ammonia is still there but i am still in cycling phase so that is acceptable for now i would assume. I will try and change water every time it hits 2.0 ppm so it is better on fish.
