well should have not said anything. i came home checked the water amonia is 8 ugh...
and i have more brown algea then ever.....oh well looks like it will be a while.

wow it really switches fast. Also, a skimmer isn't fully running at his cruise speed, usually it takes like 2 weeks to "break in" and be optimal. Cut the light even more, 8 hours is too much when you cycle and have crazy algae blooms

I always keep my lights off during my tank cycles. Nothing much to look at anyway.

tank is looking real good i delayed posting any results because last timei said it was looking good everything spiked again but only for a day.....all parameters are good been so for a couple of days. i think i will be letting it go till monday and i will order a cleaner crew. is that enough time or do i need to wait longer

I would wait until monday as it will take a few days to get the crew and a week with zero params should be enough, maybe your spike was a bad test. did you retest it when you had that spike?

yep the test was good....i am sure it is good now but i will wait till next week some time
