Well thank you everybody. Yes, I did get them locally. Its fun and a chance to get a better QUALITY DISCUS you get to pick them out. Nobody to cry about if you get a cull or football size discus. Does anybody know why the pic won’t show on the screen???
It makes me want to toss out the table and chairs in the dining room and get 100-200 gallons tank. It would look perfect in the dining room, to cover up a wall and have a spacious walking space. I'll give it some thoughts. ~adjusts halo~
To much attention to details now adays IMO (for discus). Most wilds have large eyes...stunted or not the color is great. I just think to many people stress the need to have show quality fish just for your home tank and to enjoy. Meh.
For the money one pays for discus, One must be particular to details. If your just going to settle for B or C grade fish after dropping anywere from 60.00 to 200.00 on a fish, Your best bet is to go after another less expensive species of fish.
Oh i agree, if i'm paying top dollar, you should get top dollar. I'm talking about maybe like a "blue diamond special" from breeders or something that needs to move stock. Like $20 a pop a fish max.
