B_B, you'tr using aceis as feeders??????????

Yes monas, I have 2 left. There was "A" fry about a month ago, no sign now. They need their own tank. The 4 that I lost jumped. And I got them from the new Aquarium Services. It was Pasbetta (Sandra) that got shellies (actually they turned out to be Calvus) at teh Mtl auction.

She's gonna be there Nov 24th. Looking forward to it!

Hey! Welcome to the board! 16 tanks!!!?!?!?!? You're living my dream. How bad would a Lionfish sting hurt? I'm sure one day I'm gonna get one and one nite when I'm alone I'm going to be watching it and I'm going to think "Hmmm I wonder what a Lionfish sting feels like" and I'd likely try it. It wouldn't kill me or anything would it?

hahahaha guess I did Luvfishies, I really dont know anything about africans and well free feeders never knew they were worth more than the dime a dozen mixed africans....perhaps I should remove them but these 2 do seem to have taken a liking to the Os:D

Well Lions venom itself isnt potent enough to kill you. But let me tell you the first 2 hours or so it is some insane pain(get to the point of wishing you were unconcious really). Some people have allergic reactions, I had a reaction and had to lay in the hospital a couple days. But if you dont have a reaction its like an insanely painful bee sting. Of course the only sting I got was a couple of months ago when I moved and had to handle him and he got caught in the net, totally my fault. If the Lion doesnt feel threatened they wont sting, I hand feed mine all the time never even tries to sting:D

hahahahaha, Im not picky when it comes to feeders(oscars dont care so I dont) but I dont buy feederfish(parasite city) so when the opportunity arises anything can be up for grabs:D What kind of africans do you keep Somonas? I just have a couple of Jewels myself.

My Lion hasnt took a dive(yet anyway) but any large fish given some room to pick up speed can indefinatly hurl itself a good distance. They arnt really swift fish, so I dont personally see how they could get the momentum to really fly out of the tank yet they may suprise me*crazysmil
