get a CO2 system if you can afford it. otherwise religiously replace you DIY CO2 reactors to prevent CO2 fluctuation withing the tank.

10 gal update. I cleaned it up a while ago and I traded off my HC carpet to someone for random plants (will be getting plants soon)

In the meantime I planted the tank with w/e I had underhand:


And here are the swordtail fry in this tank (some of them) :

@ Val: yes just using it as a fry tank now. Stocking is
10+ swordtail fy
10+ Cherry shrimp
2 Ruby Nerite Snails
1 Otocinclus

@Bob: I'll take all you have to offer. I can prolly give you flame moss(if thats still alive on my window sill), christmas moss off the log, Hornwort, dwarf sag, tiny amount of HC, all the glosso or w/e that stuff is in my tank LOL!

10 gal update shots. i like the way it grows w/o anything but topping off and feeding the fry once a day:




I should probably add excel again...its been weeks since I last added it.
