Well actually Aaron, hehe.....

8am this morning I woke up and thought about the whole idea and was ya ok.. i'll take her out of the mesh box and put her in with the other's again. Well I did just that and the second I stuck her in there the male hansbaenschi immediatly starting chasing her, twitching and just being a hormone, all the other fish were chasing her too so I though ok, she will freak and swallow the eggs and all will be well. Well I'll tell you this, she's a damn good mother, despite the 8am-7pm harassment from the other tankmates, she still held onto the egg's. By this time she was REALLY stressing out and up at the corner turning herself sideway's hiding. I felt bad so I put her back in the mesh box fearing she would be dead by morning if I didn't.

So, we'll see what happens :)

Why do you have that pic in your signature if you dont believe it? Just for attention?

Ya.

That's the only exciting thing for me personally with the offspring is waiting to see what kind of color strains I get. If they are beautiful then whoo. they are staying with me.. but if they are pretty maybe I could make my own strain like people do with some ? :)

I am glad Jay made the right decision and decided to let Nature take it's course.
Bobrob one of the challenges and excitement about keeping africans is watching them breed, but also we must be responsible fishkeepers and maintain good blood lines and not intentionally crossbreed.
