UPDATED :)

okay here they are. tank shots and fish shots of my Cichlid Tank :)

First here is my tank. 40 Gallon tall eclipse tank. Now we don't normally have the set up like this, usually we have the lavarocks on the bottom with the other rocks built up, but my husband wanted to try something different. Oh you can't see him now but if you look through the big lava rock, the first hole, there is the pleco. He is huge, but again, you can't see him so there.




Next, not sure if anyone could I.D. the guy on the bottom. His colour on his face just started to change like that.

I.D. PLEASE And see the guy to the right, what is he. When i bought him i thought he was a yellow lab, then he started to change colour. You can find other pictures of him above.



Red Top Yawn. I don't think he is very photogenic. thats ok.

I know this may be a stupid and novice questions:

How big do they get?

Do they need groups?

Are they compatible with Oto's?

Would they be alright in a 20g?

I have seen them about probably around 5 inches - Give or take-. No groups... i believe if there are more then 1 in a tank they will fight. So just 1. Not sure they if they are compatable with Ottos... Maybe someone else can answer that one. And a 20 gal, might be kind of small.

Were you able to find out what the yellow one is? I got a better bic of him. I am thinking that he may be a highbrid of somesort, but hopefully not cuz that will piss me off.
