just had a Neon tetra die Noticed him this morning. I think it was just old age as there was no signs of any disease.


..looks like he will live on feeding one of my house plants

You put the dead fish in your house plants as fertilzer? Oh wait is it like your little pet cemetary? Sorry to her about your loss too.

yup The Circle of life so to speak. When my fish pass on, I burry them in the house plant pots.

yup i have a buddy who swears buy it to grow his "special crops"

i do it too. There was a plant that was crooked and my mom chopped off the crooked part. since it grew so slow and the first of my prized fish died, i burried him there, now it has many leaves, but that is my sole guppy plant, i bury only guppies there, all the other fish go to other weak plants..

hehehe, "special crops". yeah hehe...oscars make really great ferts for those....or so ive been told. actually since ive been dumping my tank water on some of the struggling plants(no, not special crops, regular stuff) in my garden, theyve popped up and are strong as heck!

channel cats are pretty good too,that and striper.or the occasional carp.i know at least one person would catch carp when we go fishing.my friend swears by fish and fish emulsion for ferts,i have tried to show him other ways but he says it's something in the decaying matter,not that he could tell a stem from a flower
my front lawn is pretty boss thanks to fishwater,never have used fish myself though
