Angels really aren't that bad...some are, and if you have more than one they are terrible at picking on each other...but for the most part if you feed them enough and give them enough space they're very cool fish :)

I wouldn't put a normal finned angel in there. But the superviel is fine IME in a community setting. It has to do with him having 7+ inches of dorsal, pectoral, and tail fin flowing behind him. It just slows him down to the point that he can't even try to chase the slowest tank mates. Mine actually ended up just giving up and now doesn't even notice the smaller fish.

In case you do not know what to look for. Here is my guy when he was only about the size of a quarter. This is pretty much what most of the ones in an LFS are going to look like.


Here he is about 8 months later with some growing still left to do. This was right before we moved him out of the discus tank and into the 75.
