Pleco's for a 55 gallon

Just got back the store, picked up a clown pleco, they actually had a pretty good variety but I remembered someone mentioning clown in this thread. He gave the lady at the store quite a fight, attached to the side of the tank and would not let go.

Make sure you have driftwood - clowns are wood-eaters...

I think you made a good decision, though.

Yeah I was planning on picking some up when I bought him but the wood they sell is only for like reptile things, says not aquarium safe. Gonna check some other stores and if I can't find anything I'll order offline.

Here he is, I finally saw him eating some algea yesterday, he needs to get to work though there's a lot growing.

Rubber Lips, Zebra, Chocolate zebras, BN(bushie nose). Those are some ideas but the Zebras might be alittle hard to find.

As far as driftwood does it matter where it is from? I just came across this site aquarium driftwood , driftwood Genuine imported Asian driftwood for aquarium and it says it is from southest Asia area. I just want to make sure that this will be good for him because I like the stuff I see on that site.

Well since mine basically just sits on that decoration all day it's not very hard to snap shots of him, just have to wait till he gets in a decent spot.
