Wow! That certainly dispells some of the fear surrounding "fish-in" cycling. You got a lot of mileage from those tetras.

By the way, how are they doing??

Currently in 56 gal column tank with six bleeding heart tetras,One Angelfish,Eight Julii corydoras,and One Longfinned Albino Bristlenose. Tank is filtered with Two Emperor 280's and One hydro sponge filter.

This "new" tank is still, apparently, providing an agreeable habitat for its denizens. No losses and all are active, hungry, show full fin extension and sleek exteriors.

Ammonia is still dropping, but nitrite still high. Starting to see a fair amount of nitrAte. Just a matter of time and then the Gourami goes in (and two Platies).

Then it's done (I think).
