SafeStart and Tank Stocking

Nitrates Confused
Okay we are on week 3. I have the following test results:
Am = 0
Nitrite = 0
Nitrate = btw 0 & 5.0
Should I try and lower the nitrates? I did a 10% water change 2 days ago, which didn't seem to change the levels.
Refresher - 55 gal - started with Safestart, current population 4 adult Mollies 3 molly fry, 7 zebra danios and 12 ghost shrimp.

I have read many posts on several forums and apparently those that use it correctly are very pleased and successful with the results. It is different than others that claimed to be bacteria in a bottle and that is why it doesn't need to be refrigerated.
