I personally hate school... just not something I enjoy. Although I will say when I started highschool it was 200 times easier than middleschool was because of the way its setup. We have "block scedualing" which gives us on average 4 classes per day not factoring in skinnies which is confusing. But instead of having 8 classes per day all year we have 4 classes that are twice as long and we only have them for half a year and we switch to out 2nd set the next half. It realy lets you focus on what your doing rather than worring about 10 things at once. And less homework which is a gift from God in my book =P But my grades shot up from like C's and maby a D here and there in middle school to almost all A's. So yea Highschool is much much MUCH better for me than middle was. Still its school =/
We have the same thing at my school and I love it. You don't have to worry about doing homework for 8 classes every night and if you don't like a teacher or class, you only have to endure it for half of the school year.*thumbsups

Just for the record, if you are in college, FORGET going through the bookstore for your books, go to amazon.com or half.com, and you can get a MUCH better deal on your books, not to mention that you can probably sell them back to the bookstore for probably more than you paid for it.
Actually, a whole lot of classes "require" books, and then never use them. I figured that out after freshman year... don't buy books unless the teacher actually expects homework out of them, you know you'll never use them just to do the "reading" for classes. And then, the stupid bookstore won't buy them back because they're "old," or better yet, our bookstore started this new thing where they won't buy a book back unless the class is offered the next semester.

I wish my high school offered marine bio... we just got anatomy and "advanced science", which was a semester each of botany, microbio, o-chem, and something that I can't remember. Of course, my senior year was the only year the school DIDN'T offer environmental science, which you could only take during senior year. My school was pretty small, we had 93 in my graduating class, only 5 people in my AP Calc class.

College is so much better than high school. The people are nicer, the scenery is nicer, the classes are (mostly) better, the food is better, etc. I have one more semester left, and then an internship during the spring. I've got Animal Physiology, Animal behavior/ecology, Psychobio lab, psychobio topics, and then internship credits so I don't have to pay to be enrolled next semester :D. Should be a good last semester, I saved mostly good classes. That's the other joy about college, you can save good stuff and get the humanity crap out of the way early.

My school is even smaller than that. I don't think my class has more than 65 people in it; our largest AP Calc class was 2 people two years ago, and they didn't even offer it last year. So are choices are pretty bare minimum in the class category. :eek:

I can't wait for college, just so I can get out of the high school setting. I'm so sick of the people at my school, I can't wait to be away from them. x.X;

My school has an Lower School (Pre-K through 5th) and an Upper School (6th-12th). So in all the Upper School there are about 400 students, give or take a few. Your ochestra is probably almost as big as the entire middle school! :p
