I have a pigeon blood discus fish that went from being the fiestiest most dominant fish in the tank with gorgeous color to now laying on the floor of the tank.
I went to work and came back and something happened. When I tried to pull him up with the net he started swimming straight up, but swam entirely vertical.
Now it floated back down to the tank and is resting on the ground.
I have no idea what is wrong with the fish but maybe he as a bad swim bladder or a broken back somehow?
I can enclose a picture, but in the meantime imagine a discus laying on its side in an aquarium on the substrate.
But I am worried.
