Sump idea

any sites out there that have cheap sumps (acrylic I would assume would be the easiest for weight) with the chambers already in (and that aren't wet/dry setups?)

I'm trying to take the lazy approach. Just want to add a few gallons to my small tank.

Actually he uses a weir type overflow that is pretty interesting though I am not so sure that they are siphon break proof without an airlift pump attached.......from what I have read the "U" style is more reliable and less likely to fail.

I did find a link on his site that explains how to start it.

Another question.

I have the CPR backbak2R. Would an additional 10 gallons or so of water require me to get a new one? Or will it be ok for now? I will be adding two heaters into the sump.

I think I would put it on the in side....it really doesn't matter as you are not having a refugium in the sump...also it reduces the chances of bubbles making it back to the tank
