The rays we caught were about 12 inches across the back maybe a little bigger, I can only assume this is the adult size as I never caught one larger. This was in the St Augustine part of the river so the water was totally FW.

For a tank I would like the up high viewing like you have but I would have to do something different, like maybe build my own tank and make it 5 ft by 8 ft, and keep it shallow. This is a dream tank of course. ;)

Can you touch him?:confused: I know as a general rule your not supposed to touch fish but the rays and sharks are always present in the "touch tanks" at aquaria (rough skin like their shark relatives by the way) so I was wondering if you can handle the (not so little) fella?
