The rays we caught were about 12 inches across the back maybe a little bigger, I can only assume this is the adult size as I never caught one larger. This was in the St Augustine part of the river so the water was totally FW.
For a tank I would like the up high viewing like you have but I would have to do something different, like maybe build my own tank and make it 5 ft by 8 ft, and keep it shallow. This is a dream tank of course.
