well, the 40 is acrylic so it would definitely not be a problem. i actually drove it from san jose to san diego and then back to OR...1300mi. The 29 is small enough that it wouldn't tip or anything. I am definitely moving to somewhere around the Sacramento or East Bay area its just a matter of time so I will definitely keep you informed
Thanks... by the way, have any pics? Would love to see all three actually. :p

Oh shnaps. I want that 40! :) I'm not too keen on the 90 tall. Tall tanks just seem a little less spacey for big fish. (except angels of course) Are you sure that's a 40? Looks a lot bigger. I'm guessing it's pretty skinny then am I correct? Looks like a 55. Anywho, I'm keepin an eye on this thread. If no takers by the time you get to Sac I may just take a roadtrip.

It is a 40g "breeder" so its actually fairly deep which makes for a nice display:

15in deep x 20in tall x 36in long

fully set up with stand + canopy = 16in deep x 43in tall x 38in long
Ahhh, that's why it looks bigger, it's a 36"... thought it was 48" that's why it looked way bigger than a 40 lol. Oh yeah, by calculation it's showing as about a 47 gallon. :)

yah...it really would make a great tank for that sort of thing, i just don't know that i have time for maintaining another tank like that plus i'm not sure how big my new place is going to be so i don't know if will have room for it

I'm actually more interested in the 40gallon tank now that I have seen the pics. I'll keep in touch with you. Being in Portland at the same time that you're unloading a tank is just too much like fate. If anyone beats me to it though I understand. But I'd be willing to come over and pick it up (after I get a job of course).

how much are you asking for the 90g anyway? just curious.. me and hubby are looking for another tank. we have a 55g but have got a lot of fish that will eventually get huge. aka 2 oscars and 1 jack dempsy. being as your 90g is so skinny would that be OK for big fish to turn around in? hmm..
