Hello MyFishTank Members.

I have been a member for some time now and have made many friends. There are many fish keeping fanatics on this forum who are kind,knowledgable, and you can trust them to give you reliable information.

Now, i want to know what are YOUR top 5 favorite Aquarium fish, and you top 5 Favorite Aquarium Plants

1 being the favorite going down to 5.

ill start you off :)

My favorite fish :

1.Blue Gourami 2.Betta fish 3.Bristlenose pleco 4.zebra danios 5.Molly

My favorite fish :

1.Water wisteria 2.Java moss 3.Java Fern 4.Amazon sword plant 5.Anubis nana

Oooo good question!

Mine are (in no particular order), german blue rams, discus (wild colour rather than the bred colours), altum angels, pristella tetras (just gorgeous in a big shoal) and mango pleco (L47).

Plants, I'd probably go with amazon swords (various varieties), vallis, dwarf hairgrass, crypts, aponogeton ulvaceus, rubra water lily and good old java fern. I know I cheated and that's 7 but hey :p I'm really quite simple when it comes to plants :)

Favorite fish:
Bettas (obviously!)
GBRs
Altum angels (not copying you misterking...I REALLY love the look of the altums)
SA bumblebee catfish
Any type of cory

Favorite plants:
Cabomba caroliniana
Anacharis
Amazon swords
Anubias
Dwarf sag

Fun! Gosh, some of the things I would list aren't necessarily fish or plants that I have or can keep, but here goes:
1) Angelfish ;)
2) clown loaches
3) discus
4) glass catfish
5) pictus catfish

Plants:
1) tiger lotus
2) morimo moss balls
3) anubias
4) banana plants
5) duckweed

I love this! I totally can grow aquarium plants but house plants seriously wilt as I'm taking them home knowing they'll just die hahaha.

1. Swordtail. 2. Betta. 3. Goldfish. 4. Corydoras. 5. Ocellaris Clownfish (because I finally got my Nemos)

Plants:
1. Hornwort. 2. Water Sprite. 3. Java Fern. 4. Hyrophila Kompakt. 5. Christmas Moss.

Lets see...

Fish: Serpae Tetras, albino bristle nose plecos, otos, black skirt tetras, and green tiger barbs...

Plants: I don't even know where to start on the aquarium planting.. now on the other hand I have completely taken over my living room with house plants that have grown like wildfire :D
