Probably so Joe, that'd be the way with less work. You could frag and attach yourself, but its a big rock it'd be a pain taking it out of the tank. I'd just play the waiting game.
i just super glue the plug onto what evr rock i want.... with zoos i find they spread better wen the plug is flat rather than on the front of a rock and slighty angled.... i got the plug my tubs came on laying in the sand and the plug the bam bams came on glued to a rock and the tubs are doing much better FWIW
Plus with fragging you can always have polyps break loose and wash away. I just found a mohawk paly in the back of my tank on the substrate that had broken loose from the superglue and floated away like 3 weeks ago.
heres another comparison in the growth on my idaho grape cap over 4 months...it browned out alittle but im happy overall with the growth....looking at the pic u cant really tell how much its grown, its easily doubled in size but the new growth is growing up towards the surface so its kinda hard to tell from this pic
