i am a lucky one. my walmart store takes really good care of their fish. all the tanks are clean and the fish are with apropriate tank mates. except for this one time when the regular guy took a vacation some dumbass put a bunch of neon tetras in the clown knife tank "just to see what would happen." its freaking walmart! they are supposed to keep the fish ALIVE. the regular guy is good and has two freshwater tanks of his own filled with wally world fish only. all my fish are walmart fish and only one out of every fish i own has died. except the ones i bought to feed to my clown knife ofcourse.
