yeah i have a big reservoir of phosphates. And it shows.
I have "dust" everywhere where there's very little current.
I think i'll go for 10 astrea+nassarius 'cause they're very active. The long hair algae is gone, but now i have a very very fast growing 1 mm long orange hair algae that is assaulting my tank...and mostly my umbrella sarcophyton and annoyed so much my yellow polyps that a couple of them were covered with it and die. For the umbrella, i gently used a toothbrush to clean it yesterday. It's re-opening today.
This algae is difficult to see. It looks like some heat wave around a object since it has very little opacity.
D'you guys got this one ?
Well i'm building experience. I think i had every algae possible. Once i'll get rid of them all and the tank we'll be mature, i'll feel like a yellow belt in reefkeeping.
