I have two of these "things" along the top of my tank. They are located just above the water line. I think they are snail eggs but i have absolutely no clue, just a wild guess. Anyone kn ow what they are?
I do have two snails. My LFS had them labeled as mystery snails. i think i may let one "clump" of eggs hatch but i have found three more batches just above the water line.

Females often will lay eggs that are infertile. They also can store the male's sperm for months and lay fertile eggs with no male present.
"Apple snails are often sold under the name Golden mystery snail and are given incorrect names like Ampullarius for the genus instead of Pomacea and species names like gigas instead of maculata. More info about this can be read in the species section of this website. For more info about how to keep and breed apple snails: take a look at the care section of this site."
Most stores would only take around 60 snails a month from me. But the $15 I made at one store would buy enough algae wafers to feed all the baby snails for a month.
