How clamped are these fins? They arn't always going to be fully extended. Lets not jump to conclusions to fast. The reason i say this is he said the front is still swimming.

I echo orion, waterchanges...nothing else.

EDIT: Milo, the only red worms i know of are bloodworms...and they are food, though not for your kind of fish. Never heard of red worms cleaning a tank.

Hi Cichlid Man,

To tell the truth, I didn't really think anything was wrong with the front. Thought all was well. I wouldn't say that they are right up against his body. Sometimes they are up, sometimes they are down. Same like the rest of the guys in my tank.

I tried to look up clamp fin but couldn't find anything that gave alot of information. How can y ou tell if your fish has clamp fin? What are some signs? From what I have read is that the fish will not swim around and stay at the bottom of the tank and hide. Won't eat or anything. Thats not my front. He is actually swimming at the top of the tank when I get home from work. I feed him and he goes around the middle section of the tank to eat. Most of the other fish go to the top while a few stay at the bottom to eat.

What are some signs of Clamped Fin?
