The website says this fish is also known as a clown sweetlips. But I dont think it looks at al like a clown, other than its orange.on that site they are 19.99,22.99 and 34.00.

Since it's listed as "expert only" on liveaquaria, it's probably very difficult to care for. Note also that it says "it grows at a rapid pace." Sounds like a good fish to return...

thats what i was thinking caps lock... i really like the fish but if it is going to be hard to care for, i dont know. if they dont give me credit or anything, i guess ill keep it till it dies or gets too big then make sweetlips for dinner one night... 3 FT of fish sure would make good dinner! j/k i wonder why they had this at the LFS. it was in a little 1x1 tank... she said it had been there for a couple weeks...

Does it eat? A lot of the time, the reason they're listed as "expert only" on there is because they're a royal pain to get to eat, but once you have one that eats they aren't any harder than most other fish.

if it is feeding you will probably be ok but you will need to get a bigger tank if you want to keep it. another thing, you should feed mysis instead of brine...brine has very little nutritional value when compared to mysis. also, make sure you are varying its diet
