Which synthetic salt mix do you use?

Really? I've been hearing that stuff is better than IO. What would you say in your experience?

I only have a few corals so I have not tested its limits. it seems pretty good to me.

Petco don't even have it. They are selling IO for $60 plus. So i prefer ordering online.

tropic marin for me. the guy at the lfs said oceanic doesn't have everything you need and would have to get some sort of buffer or additive......can't remember exactly what he said.

Oceanic is consistently low on alk apparently. I couldnt tell the differnce between reff crytals and IO, but you can't really go wrong.

i dont like ordering heavy things online. they crack or break easily. with the shipping cost it comes down to like $45. i got my 160g IO from petsmart for the price of $32 (i used the internet pricing.)

I think for a little while, DrsFostersSmith isn't charging for additional shipping weight for IO.
