No, I'd have to get one online. The reason I asked about the motor is that there's clearly no sand on the impeller, so it must be in the hole that the impeller goes into. I wasn't sure if that was the motor or not. I guess I need to get a pipe-cleaner and see if I can get any sand out of there.

I think the most disappointing part is the lack of response from Marineland. They say they regularly check their mail, but still no response. I tried to call today too but was on hold for too long and had to go to a class and hang up.

This is the response I got from Marineland:

Hello,

First off, you would want to make sure that the impeller is cleaned. We
recommend removing it once monthly & soaking it in distilled white
vinegar. Most of our units require that the water level be all the way
up on the tank, be sure of that also, before plugging the unit after
cleaning. If that doesn't help, please send it in for warranty. You can send the light in as well. We will
be glad to replace it. Include your name, shipping address and
telephone number inside the box. Our address is in your manual. If you
no longer have the manual, I have provided the address below.

That's awfully nice of them. I'm impressed by that level of customer service. I'm not sure what I'm going to do now that my light started working again though.

Yeah, that's a good point that they didn't really consider, but I currently have all my fish and plants in my 10 gallon so I suppose it doesn't really matter.
