I am happy today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I finally got my 2 beautiful blue/chocolate Orandas. They are gorgeous.... One is about 4 inches long, the other a baby at 2 inches.. They are so cute and getting used to their quarantine tank... With proper care they will "grow up" to be beautiful

So now my tank is fully stocked! 3 Fancys to 38 gallon a nice 12.6 gallons a piece to swim in... I truly hope that they all get to a foot long! Henry now is big and fat, and looking really good, I am so happy I was able to save him, from all his ailments....

So I just wanted to share my news with you!

Orandas seem to be quite popular! At least they were when I wooked at a LPS, they would sell as soon as we got them. They are nice looking if thats your thing.....I have seen very large orandas with their big bellies they are very impressive.

I have a friend that has 2 goldfish and a pcostameus(don't know if I spelled that right) in a 55g tank. One of the goldfish is over a foot long and the other is just under a foot long. They were just those feeder golfish that you buy at wal-mart for 10cents. I was just amazed when I seen them. He feeds them earth worms and also goldfish pellets. They are so big and healthy.

Great News Marie!!!!

Ya, big golfish are cool! Sol, my biggest was a mere 1.5" fish a few weeks ago, now he is nearing 4".

Petey my Pl*co grew 1/2" in 2 weeks yikes! Thank god for the 55 gal or I would be in real space trouble soon.

All my fish are finally health too now (RIP Midas :() and if I could get my hands on a 70+gal tank, I would like to add a couple fancy goldfish too.

There are many threads around hear explain the * in the word pleco, but since I have nothing else to do.........

It is an internet/aquaria superstion. If you keep a pleco and wright the whole word out, your pleco will be cursed with the punishment of death....but if you use the term pl*co nothing bad will befall your belovid pleco. So the legend goes....

(I do not keep a pleco:D)

Hi Iggy,

I just put them all together... Henry is being a bully to the other two. But I figured they will need a bit of time to adjust, I think he will like having the company after his two other tank mates died...

Mervyn is gorgeous, about 3 inches from head to tail, blue chocolate and Shilo is smaller about 2 inches from head to tail, same colouring with a lovely little face!!

I really hope nothing happens to these two.. They stick together like glue it's really cute, and Henry is the big "daddy" He's huge in comparison!!!

Hope you had a good week-end... Did you get my e-mail and pm?

Marie

I just can't stop myself, I just pick up a black moor.... God help me I'm addicted. He is a little tiny guy, but really cute.

Damit, time to start shopping for that 120 gal tank soon!

Have not named him yet (give it a few days). He is still exploring the tank with the other goldfishies!
