young crayfish

oh thats what i was supposed to ask.
if i put 2 young crays in the tank 1 male 1 female will they be ok together and mate when they get big enough or will they fight ?

Your avatar pic is good, but to me it makes her look like an Australian RedClaw again. I really need a closer view from above that shows her claws as well.

As for your other question about keeping crays together...

I really think it's best to keep the male and female separated until mating time. If you only have one tank in which you intend to keep crays, then you may wanna reconsider breeding them. The crays become quite cannabalistic at a very young age, and you will have staggering losses...not to mention the parents being in there with them, which also can complicate things.

If I were you I'd check out Bluecrayfish.com and Crayfishmates.com for more detailed info. on this sort of thing (it goes beyond my 'expertise').

ok longggggggggg few days at work so i am to lazy to take pics but this cray is turning reddish in spots and has started to poop a lot what in the heck could be going on.
