Well i was tired of asking my friends for cam, so i bought a digital cam ( with macro ! ) Here's my first shot. Boy i'm not a good photographer.

1st pic just needs a little better focus, lighting is good. And the 2nd is a great pic. Love the colors, and quite an interesting shape.

tripods are really good and cheap at walmart...like $10 for the cheap one

Not pricey .The image is ok, lcd not super sharp. The big problem is the aperture/shutter time. Even in "sport mode", it isn't as fast as some cheaper camera. Can be used as webcam. Batteries last longer than usual. Let's say for 340$ CDN (so much much less in the states ), i think it's the best deal to catch stuff in your tank. Hard to find macro cam for less than 500$ here.I checked some Canon and those were awesome..and expensive. Anyways i just bought it for the 6 x optical lens. Digital zoom is IMO, useless. It's like zooming with photoshop.

agreed on the digital zoom...ill keep dumping money into my tank instead of a new camera i think...then when im a rich teacher i can get a better camera...right
