I am tentatively in the market for a new RO/DI; based on their website it seems they hand make all of their systems...how long did it take to get after you ordered?

That isn't too bad at all.
Not too bad at all. And it's an excellent unit, they mount everything...including any add-ons you purchased and clearly label everything so you know what is what and which is the output :)

We added an RO water bypass output (for RO drinking water) a pressure guage, the meter and extra filter, etc. Was all setup and ready to go out of the box.

Some new stuff in the tank:

GSP (Braireum) looks really yellow in the photo, must be my horrible camera skills.

Torch coral

Purple mushrooms

Umbrella (or mushroom) leather

Zoanthids (yellow and green, with a few red on the back of the rock)

Branching torch coral

Tank shot from the end

Nothing is in its final place yet. I'm basically trying to work out what's happiest where first, then I'll work on moving them to more final places. Still have some problems with diatoms, and ecotank likes the bubble algae, so it's staying for a little while. :)

Oops, sorry, yes, it's a branching hammer. I'm spacing out :p

We decided to use our VHO fixture temporarily, until we go for the Solaris system in a few months.

The tank is 18" wide. Not too bad. Maybe the overflow at the far end (corner overflow) makes it look narrower.

Tanks lookin great Lotus, but I got a question, are those pajama cardinals a pretty hardy fish? I see them at the LFS all the time, and they are pretty cool and since my clown jumped Im looking for other fish for my tank. (not meaning to hijack)

Some updates. :)

Unfortunately, both the wrasses died :( One jumped out, we think while we were doing maintenance, as there is eggcrate on the tank. The other died when the power went out one day while we were at work. He was the only thing that died, but everything else was a little freaked out. We now have a UPS on the powerheads and sump pump, in case of problems.

Here are some updates:

New yellow Fiji leather (the yellow isn't showing up well in this pic):

The GSP and a cleaner shrimp:

Right side of the tank (the leather looks brighter in this pic):

Thanks :)

We're still adding corals, so it's nowhere near finished yet :) I have seen the leathers full-size, so I'll definitely leave plenty of room for it to grow. I may move it next week. I put it near the bottom for it to acclimate. Nothing is really in its final place yet.

The other side of the tank has a torch and a hammer. I'm hoping to get a fine grape coral at some point, if the store gets one in, or if they frag the one in the display tank. I'll probably add some more LPS soon... perhaps some kind of brain or cup coral, depending on what I find.

I think for now we'll just be doing softies/LPS. We'll be upgrading the light in about 6 or 8 months, and may think about SPS then. I haven't really decided yet if I want to take that plunge in terms of upkeep and maintenance.
