A walmart employee said that a peacock eel can be kept in a 10 gallon aquarium. Researching on the internet, I found out that in the wild they can get up to/around 18" long and in captivity they grow to around 12" long.

In hawaii they sell clown knives and arowanas all the time, I dont see them much in the mainland though.

indeed. arows are the most popular fish out here. ive seen single arows in a 180+ tank out here. pure madness. lol

Arowana at Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, Illinois. They were a little shorter in length than me and I'm 5' 8". They were gorgeous. Love to bring back old threads, especially when they were interesting like this one.
